POLYGAMY GONE WRONG: Jacob Zuma Kicks Wife Out Over A Sim Card Quarrel
Jacob Zuma, Ex-South African president has allegedly booted one of his wives from the Nkandla homestead on suspicions of betrayal. This very incident is believed to have happened three (3) weeks ago and an irate Zuma could not merely fathom that his own wife, Thobeka Madiba had taken his sim cards without his permission. The sim cards in question were holding sensitive information that would incriminate Zuma. According to two witnesses who spoke on condition of anonymity, Madiba was chased unceremoniously after the sim card argument became seriously hot.
A closed family member said Ex-President Zuma discovered the betrayal and summoned a meeting with his closest aides. It is alleged that the sim card was suddenly found after Madiba’s return to the compound.
“All I know is that there was some kind of confrontation and thereafter she was shown the door. The thing about family meetings is that sometimes there is no fairness. I feel she was wronged,” source said, indicating that he is unsure of how many sim cards the former president keeps. However, a second source poured cold water to the claims that Thobeka had anything to do with the missing sim cards, rather suggesting that Thobeka was the victim of isithembu (polygamy) gone wrong. The source further said, “Look, there’s a guy who runs uBaba’s private affairs who is very toxic. He is the source of the initial claims that MaNtuli poisoned uBaba. We now know, so many years later, that there is no evidence to link her to the poisoning – if there was any poisoning at all,”
Ex-President Zuma is out of the country and dwelling in Cuba where he receives medical help. The source goes to the extent of saying that this is a trick aimed at discrediting Zuma’s wife, “Had she fell for the trick, it would have rendered her persona non grata. Now there is some confusion which we hope uBaba will clear when he returns from Cuba,” said the source. However, Zuma’s spokesman Vukile Mathabela declined to comment, saying that he was not in the position to comment about the Ex-president’s private life. In his own words, he said, “We will check if there is a family member appointed to speak on the matter and revert to you.”
